Program Note: Ceremonial grandeur ignites in this fantastical ballroom spectacle, but treachery lurks in the shadows. Celebrations commence. Mischief fills the air. The nobility pompously indulge themselves. Pilfering and swindling run rampant. Trickery is in elegant abundance. Dancing between eerily boisterous fanfares, restless interjections, and flourishing instrumental colors, Scoundrels of the Queen’s Masquerade depicts a lavishly impish evening at the Queen’s masquerade.
